Decades of OSH Experience in General, Construction, Maritime & Aviation Industries
Paul served 17 years in the Louisiana Army National Guard; enlisted at age 17 in the motor pool and commissioned as an Engineer Officer (Construction) through Army ROTC. Just before 911, he transferred to the US Navy as an Industrial Hygiene Officer upon completing his Masters degree in Environmental Health Sciences from Tulane University. Paul has led citizen soldiers on overseas construction missions, humanitarian aid disaster relief efforts and safety sailors aboard a floating airport; USS Abraham Lincoln. He deployed to OEF as the Chemical Component Manager for a special task force focused on WMD and served as a special staff assistant to the Commanding General of 3rd Marine Logistics Group, Okinawa Japan. He has another 15+ years of experience in Navy Industrial Hygiene and Safety Management in shipyard environments. Paul is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and OSHA Certified Outreach Trainer.
